HM Chief Inspector of the Crown Prosecution Service Annual Report 2009-2010
The Chief Inspector of HM Crown Prosecution Service submitted his first annual report to the Attorney General. It records an impressive programme of inspections in 2009-2010. General observations by inspectors were that the work of the Crown Prosecution Service’s specialist business units dealing with the most serious and sensitive cases was done to a consistently high standard. However the quality of prosecution casework in the London and Gwent areas was found to be of particular concern.
