Public consultations

HMCPSI has a statutory duty to consult the Attorney General and named bodies on its inspection programme and framework. HMCPSI, together with the other criminal justice inspectorates (HMIC, HMICA, HMI Probation and HMI Prisons), also consult on the joint inspection programme and inspection framework.
